I did an interview with a good friend of mine today, named alex ( a fake name, because he wanted to be anonymous) about celebrities, and how they are always getting into trouble, and cheating on their wives, or having to check into rehab. It actually turned out to be an interesting conversation:
Me: Celebrities now a days are just going nuts aren't they?
Alex: Yeah, they all sleep around, and cheat, and get caught like idiots
Me: Have you ever wondered why they do that? Why they do cheat on their wives? It's almost normal now.
Alex: I think they are just used to getting what they want all the time. When they can't, they take it anyway. Bastards.
Me: What role do you think the media plays in all this?
Alex: I applaud the media because they deserve to get caught. They know they are famous, they know TMZ is watching them...and they cheat, or get a DUI anyway. They can't be surprised. Not really. Bastards.
Me: But don't you think it's hard for them? Their whole life is being spied on, and documented. Paparazzi is just waiting for them to screw up, and they are people who make mistakes....
Alex: I don't know. I really can't feel sorry for them. I don't expect them to be perfect, but I can't feel sorry for them either. I mean, they have to be responsible for their actions. If they hit it, then they have to pay the price! No, but really, I don't see any excuse that would keep me from feeling bad. They do have a lot of temptation, I will say, and I'm sure it's hard...
Me: So you feel a little bad?
Alex: No... it's hard but they need to be prepared for the consequences. They are living the rich life, and they still need more. It is honestly so sickening. If I was that rich, my wife would look good to me no matter what!
Me: What do you think about Lindsey?Lohan...? And Charlie Sheen?
Alex: Lindsey is ma girl. Na, I'm just kidding. Save the drama for yo mama! Linsey is just totally lost. She is a spoiled brat, in my opinion. Charlie is an attention whore. He thinks he is the $***. Well, he kinda is...I still love Two and a Half Men! I am so sick of hearing about them in the media though. I mean, how much can I care about the same $***?
Me: Tiger? Arnold? What is your opinion there?
Alex: Hmmm. I don't know. It's really the same. They screwed up. They are rich. They want what they want, and the take no matter what. Then when it blows up in their face...they want forgiveness. That's why I don't want to be famous ever. I don't want to be like that. I mean...the housekeeper?Bastard.
Me: Your hilarious
Alex: Thanks, I try.
Me: So your sure the media hasn't gone too far?
Alex: Of course they have, but it's their right. It is annoying as f@#$, but they can expose whatever. These people are lame too. I mean their lives only revolve around the lives of celebrities. They cash in, on other people's failures. But hey...that's just the game. If don't want to get caught, don't sleep with Monica Lewinsky and lie about it!
Me: haa. Hilarious, again. Thank you so much for talking with me about this!
Alex: No prob. I love talking about these guys...they are bastards. Can we get coffee?

The Bachelorette Week Four
I did not quite agree with Ashley's decision about West. She asked him point blank if he was ready to thing about marriage again and he said yes. She told him she felt like she had big shoes to feel, and he told her she didn't. I think she should have trusted him and his word instead of simply assuming things about him. I don't get why she didn't believe him.
JP is very cute and adorable, and I think they have a strong connection as well. However, he seems as though he is getting incredibly insecure, which could hurt him in the long run. I loved seeing how excited he was about helping at the orphanage, and I thought it was really sweet how much it touched his heart, and how happy he was to be playing with the kids, and working on the project for the kids.
Seeing the previews for next week really annoy me because quite frankly, I am so sick and tired of hearing about Bentley all throughout the episode, and whatever they do or try to pay him to bring him back for...I am not interested. He is a jerk, and he does not care about Ashley at all, so I really don't feel like seeing him go through whatever scheme he is planning. Fingers crossed about the next episode I guess!

Top Albums that can Never be Topped
I thought I would do something fun today and remember the albums that shaped, in my opinion, and entire generation. The music that I listened to throughout high school and college, is still my very favorite! I thought that I would give you the run down:
Saves The Day: "Stay What You Are"
Chris Connelly and Saves The Day really came through on this album. This album is one that I still play over and over. I love the energy, the sound that really grabs a hold of you. It is an amazing album that I listen to when working out, or just in the mood to rock out! In my opinion the best songs on the album are "firefly", "This is not an exit", and "Nightingale".
Brand New: "Deja Entendu"
Don't get me wrong, I truly do love to listen to "My Favorite Weapon" and "The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me", "Deja Entendu" truly is the only album that really brings me home when I listen to it. I love this album because it is so incredibly deep, and I love the truth, and nitty gritty that they deal with about life. The best songs on the record, to me, are "Play Crack the Sky", "Me and Madonna vs. Elvis", and "Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades".
Something Corporate: "North"
Something Corporate just so happens to be my very favorite band of all time! I love this album because it is so beautiful and deep. It is a bit melancholy but, the band has such an amazing way of pinning the perfect lyrics, to a brilliant melody. They can word things in a way that many bands cannot, and as the result, thier songs carry a lot of meaning. The best songs on the album are: "Ruthless", "Me and the Moon", and "She Paints me Blue"
Taking Back Sunday: "Tell All Your Friends"
When I think about High School, I think about this album. This album, and the craziness of everything that was going down between Brand New, and Taking Back Sunday was such a big deal at that age. I was amazed by the bickering that went back and forth between them, and the harshness of their lyrics. They say what the mean, they are mean, and they sound awesome! The best songs are: "Your so Last Summer", "Cute without the 'E Cut From the Team", "There is no 'I' in Team".
The Early November: The Acoustic EP
These guys were one of the awesomest bands on Drive Thru for a while. This acoustic album was so great! I love the voice of Ace Enders, and their music made me think a lot. It was pretty emotional music, but they were so incredibly talented. The best songs on the album: "Ever So Sweet", and "I want to Hear you Sad"
Jack's Mannequin: Everything in Transit
This album is my absolute favorite album ever. I love this album because it is the album that I can relate to the most out of any album that I have ever heard. The issues that he deals with are almost a mirror to the things going on in my own life. The way that he explores life, and the describes his time figuring himself out and becoming an adult and taking a break from his true love, and his life to do some soul searching and his reflection on it...it inspires me so much! The best songs on the album: "The Mixed Tape", "Rescued", and "Made for Each Other"
Dashboard Confessional: Swiss Army Romance
Though he has been labeled as "emo", and his songs are incredibly emotional, and sad...he is a musical genius. His voice seriously melts my heart, and he is perhaps the greatest song writer on the planet. What can I say? I am "a sucker, for anything acoustic". The best songs on the album are "Hands Down", "The Places You Have Come To Fear the Most".
These are the albums I love the most, but there are still a few that were also great. My list could go on and on, but here are a few more:
Getup Kids: "Four Minute Mile"
Death Cab For Cutie: "Transatlanticism"
Acceptance: "Phantom"
Copeland: "Beneath the Medicine Tree"
Modest Mouse: "Good News for People Who Love Bad News"
New Found Glory": "Sticks and Stones"
wow...I Really miss those High School times!
